Repairs and maintenance

What we can help with

  • Jams, error codes, streaks and machines that will not start
  • Maintenance for the machines we supply
  • Workshop hours: Mon to Sat, 9:00 to 18:00

In practice

A sheet stuck at the tray pickup and a sheet stuck at the exit describe different faults. Recording where the sheet stopped helps explain the problem without opening unfamiliar parts.

In three steps

How it works

  1. Tell us the model and the fault

Pick the model and where the paper stopped, or describe what you see on the screen.

  2. Send your repair enquiry

Review the email draft and send it yourself. Include a photo of the fault if it is safe to take one.

  3. We agree the repair

You say how urgent it is and we agree the next step with you.

Find the jam

Where did the paper stop?

See how a sheet travels through the machine, then pick the place it stopped.

Red marks are the three places paper most often stops. A simplified drawing, not to scale.

Most jams happen in one of three places: the tray pickup, inside the front door, or the exit.

Tray. Sheets wait in the tray.

Pick the place

Where did the paper stop?

Tell us where the paper stopped; our engineer will guide you. Do not force the sheet. If you smell burning, switch the machine off and call us.

We carry it into your repair request, so you only type it once.

What happens when you call

  1. Log the fault and machine model

Share the Ricoh model, what is happening on the paper path or screen, any error code such as SC542, and where the machine sits.

  2. Workshop review from Ilupeju

An engineer checks the symptom and model history to determine whether a safe phone check can clear it or which parts to pack for a site visit.

  3. Confirm scope and visit arrangement

We confirm the call-out scope, whether the machine is covered by a maintenance agreement, and the visit window with your office contact.

  4. On-site repair, test prints and service sheet

Our engineer cleans, repairs or replaces the worn assembly, runs test pages across trays and duplex, and leaves a service record.
